Sercotel turns nine hotels into innovation labs

Sercotel ya anunció a principios de año que iba a meter startups en sus hoteles. Ahora, junto a la consultora Seidor, convierten nueve establecimientos en laboratorios reales de innovación. La iniciativa se llama OpenStay Lab y ya está probando soluciones en condiciones de verdad.
Los cuatro startups seleccionadas trabajan en cuatro áreas:
Mi lectura: esto es exactamente lo que necesita el sector. No más pruebas de concepto en salas de reuniones. Meter la tecnología en el barro del día a día de un hotel te obliga a que funcione o vuele. Según Hosteltur, el objetivo es identificar qué se puede escalar al resto de la cadena. Me parece un enfoque valiente y práctico. Si el proyecto demuestra ROI en nueve hoteles, la implantación en los 200+ que tiene Sercotel será cuestión de tiempo.
