Cloudbeds has launched Cloudbeds Insights, a new reporting and data intelligence layer that promises to change how hoteliers consume their own data. According to the official announcement, the tool gives properties real-time access to performance metrics, from occupancyOccupancyOccupancy is the percentage of rooms sold out of those available over a period. In a sector where data often lives in silos, that matters.

My take: real-time reporting is the new battleground in hotel tech. If Insights delivers on its promise of near-live granularity without extra integrations, it sets a new baseline for what hoteliers should expect from their PMS.
