Stayntouch integrates Staklio to untangle condo hotel owner management
Stayntouch has just announced an integration with Staklio, the property management startup focused on condo hotels and resorts where each unit has its own owner. What the two companies are promising is straightforward and, honestly, long overdue: bookings, revenue sharing and settlements get automated between the PMS and the owner management layer. No more spreadsheets across three systems to figure out what each owner is owed at the end of the month.
For anyone who has run a condo hotel, this is the part of the operation that eats margins quietly. Each reservation has to land in the right pool, trigger the correct split, and produce a statement the owner actually trusts. Doing that by hand is a full time job, and it does not scale beyond a couple of hundred units. Plugging Staklio into Stayntouch puts that math inside the same system the front desk already uses, which changes the economics of every property with mixed ownership.
I like the move. The PMS vendors that win the next few years will not be the ones with the prettiest dashboard, they will be the ones that absorb the ugly operational layers nobody wants to build themselves. Condo and branded residence inventory keeps growing in resort destinations, and a PMS that cannot settle owner statements is a PMS that cannot win that segment. Stayntouch just made itself harder to replace.
