My read is simple. The discovery part is getting solved for you. The conversion part is your job, and it is measurable. A booking engine that loads fast on mobile and shows the real rate with breakfast included will move more of that AI traffic into direct reservations. The window is open now. Hotels that fix their direct channel will pocket the commission they used to hand over.
