**My read:** this is the fight every intermediary is having right now. Whoever owns the guest profile owns the next sale. Hotels outsourcing delivery, F&B or experiences to platforms should ask the same question restaurants are now forced to ask: who sees the customer data, and who gets to act on it. The opportunity is real. A hotel that links PMS, F&B and booking data into one guest view has the same upside DoorDash is pitching here, and it keeps the relationship in house.
